Where steel cut-off walls prove impracticable, SOILTECH uses CSM (Cutter Soil Mixing) as a means. Here, the native soil is re-used as construction material. The soil is loosened, broken down and mixed with grout mix which is adapted to suit ground conditions. Learn more about the

Soldier pile walls consist of vertical supports (soldier beams), typically steel sections, that are driven into the ground at uniform distances, and supporting horizontal lagging.
Soldier pile walls are widely used in basement construction for apartments, underground car parks of construction pits in general.
SOILTECH offers this application with temporary and/or permanent ground anchors.
Where soldier pile walls (Berlin walls) are technically impractical, sheet piling is widely used as support of construction pits and/or trenches.
Sheet piling walls are a sequence of continuous interlocking steel sheet piles that are hammered, vibrated (high-frequency vibration) or driven into the ground. The wall must be able to withstand all the ground pressures imposed, whereby bending moment loads and lateral earth pressures in particular are of prime importance. Here, particular attention is paid to deformations of both the soil and the wall.

A good construction first and foremost consists of a solid foundation. SOILTECH offers earth supporting structures and earth or water retaining structures.

> Steel combi walls acting as a water retaining front wall in the construction of deep water quays
